Be careful going into the tall grass since that's where a lot of the wild pokemon live. Some will attack you so be ready to fight 'em with your own, then you can capture them if you want.

Those red and white ball things in your bag? You just sort of... throw them at weakened creatures and capture them. Then you take them out to battle! It's sort of like summoning, hehe.

And oh yeah, if you take a job anywhere don't leave early.
