[The video feed of the gear turns on to show a close-up of a Squirtle's face. It taps at the screen curiously for a moment, before a voice comes in from offscreen.]

Don't play with that. You'll break it.

[The gear gets taken away from the Squirtle, which seems to pout at having its new toy taken away. The feed turns around to show Utakata, sends out a stream of bubbles with his bubble blower. He sighs as they start to pop, looking out at some random spot in the distance rather that at the 'gear.]

If anyone else can see this, I apologize.

Since it appears to already be recording, I may as well ask now. Someone in this village mentioned there were a few others that arrived here who called themselves shinobi.

I'd like to know who they are.

Ahhh, notgoodnotgood! We're all sort of under fire right now so if the wrong people see you popping up with it like that you'll get yanked into it and targeted too.

A handful of us, yeah, the number of Shinobi seems to be going up every week all the sudden. Unfortunately the primary antagonistic organization in this place, uh, may sorta kinda have someone high in their ranks that happens to have been hunting down me mine and anyone else that throws around the word shinobi talking about themselves.
